Life comes and goes on the farm, and as with the plants, our animal friends pass as well. This month, Margi’s precious little gopher dog, Shasta, went to puppy heaven. For those of you who visited the farm, Shasta was the pup who greeted you. She helped on the farm by catching gophers, keeping us company while we picked and being a good friend. Even though we miss seeing her every day, we know her presence lives on at the farm.
